Being a member of IRTG is lot more than just following yet another association: It’s about active participation, shaping personal learning environments, about entering the scientific community and building your own professional network.

A yearly one week summer academy organized by and for IRTG members emphasizes its unique character of early steps towards more scientific independence and responsibility and towards professional organisation and presentation skills well beyond the science itself, too.
