Heisenberg grant for Andreas Hüttel

The German Research Foundation (DFG) has included Andreas Hüttel into its Heisenberg Program. Named after Werner Heisenberg, Nobel Prize winner in physics and co-founder of quantum mechanics, this program is the DFG's most prestigious funding program for researchers in all disciplines who already meet the requirements for appointment to a permanent professorship. The associated funding runs for five years, with a funding amount of approximately 750,000 euros in the first three years.
