Dear IRTG-members,

we are proud to announce that the planning of this years IRTG summer school is in full effect.

It will take place from 16.-19.8.2022 in Nürnberg.

We managed to gain a large number of high-caliber speakers from both theory and experiment to give introductions into their research fields and present their cutting-edge science.

You may look forward to talks given by:

Raül Perea Causín (E. Malic group - University of Marburg, exciton dynamics in TMDCs)
Jeroen Danon (NTNU Trondheim, theory of transport in nanoscale quantum systems)
Álvaro Jiménez Galán (M. Ivanov group - MBI Berlin, theory of attosecond dynamics)
Thomas Ihn (ETH Zuerich, transport and Qubits)
Aleksei Kimel (Radboud University Nijmegen, ultrafast magnetism)

The list of speakers may still be subject to changes. Additionally, we have planned a poster session and group activities.
