Alexey Chernikov wins ERC Consolidator Grant

Alexey Chernikov has received an ERC Consolidator Grant of almost two million euros from the European Research Council (ERC). This will finance the project "Coulomb Engineering of Quantum States in Matter" (CoulENGINE) over a period of five years. In this project, Alexey Chernikov and his research team will focus on developing novel methods to selectively manipulate electronic quantum states in nanostructured materials on ultra-fast time scales.
